Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has been named in a UEFA 'team of the century'.
The previous Reds skipper is one of just two players in the beginning XI who have never played for Real Madrid or Barcelona, alongside ex-Germany and Bayern Munich protector Philipp Lahm.
UEFA say they have made "an untouched XI" by thinking back on the players who have included most in their Team of the Year.

There are no curve balls in advance with the choices of Cristiano Ronaldo (11) and Lionel Messi (8).
