Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has invited Germany based attacker Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee for the forthcoming friendly matches against Senegal and Burkina Faso on March 23 and 27 respectively.
Who exactly is the youngster?
Bazee is a 20-year-old footballer. He grew up in the German village of Walle near Celle, where he played for several clubs.
What is his best position?
Bazee plays best as a supporting striker. Something about him reminds everyone of a certain Wayne Rooney when he first broke into Everton's first team.
What clubs has he played for?
He has played for SSV Südwinsen, uS Celle FC, JFC Allertal, TSV Havelse and currently features for Hannover 96.
In 2011, the youngster moved to the Hanover region for TSV Havelse and then to Hannover 96 in 2013. He played in the Under 19 Bundesliga and the Regionalliga Nord before making his debut on April 8, 2016 against Hertha BSC.
How is he eligible for Nigeria?
He is eligible through his father who is a Nigerian and has earned a call-up to the super eagles.
Is he prolific?
He is not the type of striker who would score you 30 goals a season as he usually plays off a main striker. Last season, he scored six goals in 16 appearances for Hannover 96.
