Meet man who grew his fingernails for 21 years (photo)

A 40-year-old Chinese man has done the unthinkable to his left hand fingernails.

The man simply identified as, Mai, spent half of his life maintaining and growing is fingernails. Mai who is from Tunchang county said he grew his left-hand for 21 years.

Mai expressed that sometimes his nails affect his daily life activities and they can be easily broken.

While this might seem like a weird situation, Mai is not the first man to maintain extremely long fingernails. An Indian man also grew his nails for more than six decades.

The Indian man started growing his nails in 1952, his thumbnail alone measured at 197,8 cm.
